This position will focus on the implementation of high-quality programming operations that help create meaningful and lasting experiences for our campers, guests, staff, and volunteers. The ranch staff provide campers with a greater set of skills and assistance to make their ride more successful. This includes, but is not limited to, horse leading, rider side walking, tack adaptations, assisted mounting and dismounting, etc.
The Stockyards is where campers go for interactive educational experiences. Nature staff will help create safe environments for both guests and animals to interact and for campers to learn about many of the native, and a few non-native, species we see in Texas. Staff will be expected to teach about, handle, and care for the various non-equine animals we who call Morgan’s Wonderland Camp home. This includes snakes, spiders, lizards, bugs, birds, ferrets, rabbits, goats, sheep, and other barnyard animals.
